Returns And Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with your McRostie purchase you can return it to us within 30 days from date of receipt as long as it is returned to us unworn and in the original packaging with all paperwork, including tickets, cards , dust bag, etc, attached.
Providing these conditions are met, we are happy to issue a REFUND for the cost of the item only, unless it is defective. If your item is a ‘Stock’ item, you may EXCHANGE your item for a similar stock item of the same value. If the exchange item is of a lesser value, we are unable to refund the difference.
First you must write to us within 14 days of receipt, at customerservices@mcrostie.co.uk providing the following information: your name, address, order number, reason for return and whether you would like a refund or if a stock item, whether you wish to exchange it for a similar stock item of the same value. If you are looking to exchange, please provide details of the item you wish in exchange.
We will email you a ‘Returns Number’ in our email confirmation. This number must be marked on the address panel and accompanying correspondence.
Items are returned at your own expense. Where , however, the item is found on its return inspection to be defective we will refund the cost of return. This will be limited to the cost of a standard service.
We cannot refund an item that we do not receive, so please ensure you obtain proof of posting and use an appropriate service. If any parcels are lost, stolen or damaged in transit when returned, it is the customer’s responsibility to claim from the relevant carrier company for their loss.
We will refund the price paid for the item to the original method of payment within 14 days of receipt, providing it is received by us in its original first class sellable condition with all packaging and paperwork intact.
Bespoke items, these include any item made to order, customized, personalised or altered in any way from the image in our online shop, are NON REFUNDABLE and NON EXCHANGEABLE.
We reserve the right to refuse any goods returned outside the time limit stated.
Please note that under your statutory rights in which you have the right to cancel, the right to cancel is withdrawn in respect of orders for item/s that are to be personalized or custom made, where work has commenced on them.
THIS IS IMPORTANT & ESSENTIAL INFORMATION FOR RETURNS OR REPAIRS COMING FROM OUTSIDE OF THE UK.
You must clearly mark the code RGR (Returned Goods Relief) on any customs declaration form, stating clearly on the form ‘RETURNED BRITISH GOODS’, McRostie’s will not be liable for any customs or duties charges incurred when returning goods and these will be deducted from any refund due.
If you are returning an item for a REPAIR from outside the UK: you must state on any declaration form the code IPR (Inward Processing Relief) and you must state clearly on the customs declaration form ‘GOODS FOR REPAIR’.
McRostie reserve the right to refuse any returned parcel that has attracted a customs charge.
