The Clyde belt takes its inspiration from the breeching strap of a single driving harness. A crucial element that acts as the brakes by connecting the carriage to the horse when it slows. Can you see the similarities between the black breeching strap and the tan Clyde belt? Each of our belts is named after a street in Glasgow, and with the breeching strap embodying the strength and craftsmanship of Clyde-built designs, it was only fitting to name this piece the CLYDE— strong, dependable, and timeless.
