With Love Project & Book
The team at McRostie had the pleasure of being part of the ‘With Love Project’, and we are very proud to be a featured artist in the final book. The With Love Project started as an idea to find and document a small amount of people who produce things with a passion and purpose, asking one single question along the way “Why do you do what you do?”
Initially the team wanted to meet 5 people and produce a small book about the people they met, but they ended up with nearly 40 makers, producers and manufacturers dotted throughout the whole of Britain – from the Outer Hebrides to the Southern tip of Cornwall. Each of the artists and manufacturers they met with still work predominantly by hand, or using traditional methods and materials.
The With Love team is made up of Chris, an expert in brand design and art direction, and Rob, an energetic, and highly creative photographer. You can read their interview with Colin here.
As well as being part of the final book, we appeared as part of an exclusive pop up shop in Fortnum & Mason for two months with other makers from the project.
